BELINDA'S JACKET
#152 The Flap Jacket.
This model was made by Belinda Bryant owner of the Victorian Quilt Shop in Cincinnati OH.
A rayon yoke applique was dyed with our dye kit and stitched to the back of the jacket with invisible thread
Additional lace yardage was dyed with our Dye kit and stitched in the shoulder seams.
The flaps on the body of the jacket were stitched with machine embroidery
For one of the sleeves, embellishments were laid down with a fine mesh fabric laid on top and pintucked over.
The other sleeve embroideried with a lovely floral design
The Creative possibilities are endless. This idea looks lovely done on black. We have one customer that made this jacket with black lace on black silk and wore it at her daughters wedding.
